POST 1. A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

 

Hello everyone, my name is Antonia Pérez and in this blog I will to tell you which country I would like to travel to at some point in my life.

When I was little my favorite hobbie was watching TV, I spent the afternoons changing the channel until I found one with a good movie. My dad passed to me that fascination for the seventh art, which is why since I was little, I have always been watching New York City from the screen.

I would like to travel to the United States to be able to cross the screen and get to know that city that is so iconic in cinema and in all aspects. I don't think there is anyone who hasn't heard the name New York. I would love to see with my own eyes the buildings that I have seen for years like the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, Flatiron Building, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Oculus, etc.

They are buildings that I would really love to see with my own eyes, and I forgot to mention that I am an architecture student, so I have more knowledge to be able to observe them in another way. I would also like to travel to New York to visit the locations of my favorite series and movies like How I meet your mother, Taxi driver, I am Legend, Spiderman, The goodfather, etc. If I go one day I would like to go with plenty of time so as not to be in a hurry, because I hate being in a rush.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to live there permanently because I don't like the big cities. But for a while it would not be bad, it would also help me to improve my English since I feel that it is very basic.
